There are many places to eat in and around Torrevieja and the Costa Blanca South region. You will be spoilt for choice and pleased with the cost. There are many Chino restaurants wherever you go. These are normally well run, offer quick service and set menus for four can cost as little as 40 euros all in with drinks.

It is unfair to single out any particular eating house but try the La Zenia beach area, the many bars and restaurants along the promenade at Torrevieja where there is plenty of variety and you can while away an hour or so watching the world go by and enjoy the atmosphere. Along the road at  Punta Prima there is also lots to sample including an ice cream parlour. Villamartin Plaza has two levels of restaurants and in the summer is very busy. The local singers compete with each other as well as the music from the bars but its a great atmosphere.

The choice of wine is limited, mainly Spanish but there are plenty of good ones amongst them. Try the Sangria as well.
